Cooper ATR
80% - Road & Sand
20% - Dirt & Mud

John Davis
Just had a set of the new ATR's fitted to my Land Cruiser
100. What a tyre! Very quiet on the highway and had some rain last week
and they handled that very well also.
Well I tried the ATR's over the weekend on a trip to Yerranderie.
On the journey to Mittagong the tyres were set to 35psi (cold) and when
I encountered the first part of the gravel road the ride was naturally
very hard but extremely responsive. On reducing the pressure to 32 (from
nearly 38 hot) the ride was a lot softer but still very responsive and
felt safe.
Encountering the low range sections (Limeburners) was where the tyres
showed their style. The grip was excellent and there was not one hint
of wheel-slip even on exiting the creek crossings, especially Murruin
Creek on leaving Limeburners Flat that is very steep and rutted.
On the trip home was where I discovered the delights of driving again.
The vehicle was so responsive and stable on corners like never before,
especially up Victoria Pass, not a sound from the tyres and the wife
who is normally on the edge of her seat was reading.
I will recommend Coopers to all my friends and fellow 4WD travellers.
Regards,
John Davis
